Session 1: A tragedy on the set. A grisly suicide. The first signs of a dire conspiracy

After a solid month of preparation, I finally got to unleash the beast. Hollywood Babalon has been a long time in the works and I’m glad to finally put it into action.

This game takes place in 1940’s Los Angeles on the set of a b-movie called House of Satan. The coarse, intense director from France, Francois du Feu, said to be a protege of Jean Cocteau has arranged for an elaborate special effect on the film only to have it result in an accident. Or was it an accident? The film’s producer, a consultant, and an insurance investigator for the studio discover a horrifying truth in the wake of this tragedy and get a full dose of the unspeakable horror of reality as they dig into exactly what was happening on that day.
